Pumpkin Carving Party '08'

This is something cute my mom forwarded me when she heard about the party. I forgot to share it, so here it is.
When asked what it is like to be a Christian:
God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.

The party was a big hit and the kids had a blast, I think I had just as much fun. We had pizza, and lots of goodies, a pinata filled with chocolates, kids got a prize for their pumpkin carving skills, and as luck would have it, they got to play in the rain off and on, their FAVORITE thing to do. Thank you Jennifer, Josie, Ruth & James, and Yanet for all of your help and goodies you brought! A special thanks to the elders for their heroic hanging of the spider. I'm sure the Mission Leader would be thrilled to know that you all did that.
Look at Liv's prize Grandma Ririe judging Finished pumpkins Our ghost cake Elders standing on chairs then on shoulders hanging my spider Spider Elders hard at work Finished product Ruth and Amy made this meatball worm.
