I have been waiting to make this craft for myself for quite a few weeks now, but with Mia having been under the weather and cranky this project went on the back burner. She's now back on schedule. So, I cranked this one out as fast as I could. I LOVE LOVE LOVE burlap ! You can do anything with it. I've got about five more projects that I'm working on with burlap that I'll post later. A blog that I follow inspired this craft, she's an amazing crafter with simple and thrifty tutorials. My kinda gal. Well hope you like it, enjoy!

wrap wreath with 4 in wide strip of burlap, the length of the material 
Cut out 25- 2 in. and 25- 3in. cirlcles of burlap and the same for each print of material then brad or glue them together, I used brads and I'll add jewels or buttons later. 
Voila! 
Add twine to the back and print letters 
I rubbed them with stain for a more vintage look

I have to tell you that I found this other site called mixbooks.com and they had AWESOME prices too. And a LOT more options.
I haven't had a chance to navigate their site yet, or make a book, but if you use it, let me know how it works!
Also, snapfish.com is GREAT! Their book design program is SO SO SO easy to use, and has a lot of cool designs. The only problem is that they are a little pricey.

ReplyDeleteI *love* your wreath!!! The colors are gorgeous!! So I have one question. I just bought my material & stuff. How did you attach the circles to the wreath? Hot glue gun or pins? I would think a hot glue gun would work better because you wouldn't have to worry about the pins going through the wreath. Thanks for the inspiration!!
