Father's Day 2012

This Father's Day was all about diy...the kids and I made homemade goodies, cards, crafts, and some gifts.  It was actually a lot more work but the kids loved sneaking around and hiding dads goodies.

slightly out of order but I don't have the energy to fix this

We made it...our first beach trip in West Palm

Having grown up in Corpus Christi, it's safe to say that I was a beach baby...my parents taught us how to swim in the ocean, and I love Padre Island and we've seen beaches in different parts of the world, but this clear water and soft sand still takes my breath away.

Bye Bye Birmingham

Our big 11 year boy finished elementary, with lots of achievements and made us so proud, sigh... then we headed on to Atlanta

Our first stop, the Coca Cola Museum

Then we made our way over to Macon, Ga.- Gorrrgeous!!!

Alice in Wonderland

Right before we left dear old Birmingham, I had the chance to take my girl on a date, we headed downtown to see Alice in Wonderland...I worried about how she might do, she was glued to the edge of her seat and didn't blink once. She was hooked! I'm so glad because I've since taken her to see Peter Pan here in Florida, and we're planning to see Mary Poppins for her birthday in Jan. I love that she loves this!

After the show we headed downtown to the Peanut Depot which is a very historical part of downtown Bham...Mia had a little photo shoot
