Bacardi Distillery Tour - Cantano, Puerto Rico

Ahhh the Bacardi tour. How fun was this. A free tour with complimentary beverages and shopping afterwards at Casa Bacardi. The tour was a detailed account of how Don Facundo Bacardi Masso, originated Bacardi Rum on February 4, 1862 in Santiago de Cuba, and also the production process.

Our trek to Pinones

Pinones is an area outside of San Juan that connects to Loiza. You can drive along beachside and there are little shops and LOTS of food. You can order anything from bacalaitos, alcapurrias, pasteles, empanadillas, tostones, & Johns and my favorite: MOFONGO. We ate so much mofongo that were pretty much over it. Ha ha!
