Thanksgiving '12'

I have been in the third trimester of a pregnancy for 3 Thanksgiving holidays in my life...This is because I've had 3 January due dates, however this particular pregnancy has been the hardest by far. Perhaps my age, maybe the amount of weight I've gained, who knows, my point is...this Thanksgiving was a little more physically challenging, but I was determined to make a full meal, decorate, and go Black Friday shopping without fail ! Luckily we had Grandma Ririe and Uncle Joe here for one whole week. I can't remember when we'd packed so many activities into one whole week let alone one whole day.  We tried to do as much as we could together to make the most of our time together, because who knows when we'll all be together again. We did mother/daughter-in-law dates, brother dates, all boys only dates, girls only dates, Grammy and her babies dates.  All in all this holiday was one of the best ever, we're so thankful for family and the precious time we are able to spend with them.

These two crack me up

This collage is from our trip to Miami... we shopped at Sentir Cubano and had dinner at an outdoor market that served every popular Cuban dish you can think of, YUM!

Mia was excited to cook with her Grandma, she helped with the Watergate Salad, but probably taste tested more than anything else.

The kids got to make turkey crafts with their Mima

These Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifles were a big hit...thanks Pinterest! These will definitely be a new tradition.

Last minute table details...I literally put this together in 5 min.

These cute little tags were from the fabulous Emily Jones

Not sure how, after Black Friday shopping til 2a.m., we were able to make it to the park at 9 a.m. for an impromtu game of soccer

As if this wasn't fun enough, the guys decided to drive us up to Fort Pierce to visit the Navy Seal Museum

Okay, the fun didn't stop there, on the way home from the museum we made a quick stop at Gander Mountain so the boys could stock up on "toys", then rushed home to get ready for a date night at City Place. The whole week has become sort of a blur, I just remember good food, lots of fun, and cherishing our time with Grandma and Uncle Joe.
